Graduate school in public health has sent my ever-musing mind into overdrive, so I hope to use this blog as a way to share my musings and start conversations. Turn to the comments section at the end of each post and muse away! I would love to hear your thoughts.
A quick note about me: I’m a master’s student in public health, with a focus in social determinants of health and health communications. Prior to this, I was a biomedical engineering major in undergrad. I’m captivated by public health’s systems-level, population-level approach to health – an approach that is interestingly very similar to engineering’s approach to problem solving. Which conveniently gives me something to say when people ask me how in the world I went from engineering to public health =).
Thanks for visiting! Your thoughts and suggestions always welcome.

Hi, I came across a comment you made on Healthcare Marketing and Communications News, was interested in your background and found your blog.
I’m currently doing a master’s in public health and also have extensive experience in health communications (magazines, daily news, corporate communications….I’ve done it all). I’m hoping to eventually put it all together in the public health field.
Where are you studying?
Hey Vinu! Great to see you blogging here about public health! Keep up the great writing and work. Will be linking to your blog on Pulse + Signal if that’s alright with you.
Absolutely, thanks Andre! I *love* Pulse+Signal – thanks for all the great work you do!
